Stuck at the door?

Most sign in problems are one of four things. Work down the list before asking anyone, because three of them you can fix yourself in under a minute.

01

You do not have an account yet

Accounts are created by the campus team from the student roster, so there is nothing to sign up for. Speak to your department rather than waiting for an email that will not arrive on its own.

Requests through this site are closed at the moment. The campus team is creating accounts directly instead.

02

You have forgotten your password

Use Forgot password on the sign in form. You can enter either your registered email or your student ID.

The link goes to your registered email. Check Spam and Promotions, and if more than one arrives, use the most recent.

03

It says your details are wrong

If the email or password is rejected and your browser filled it in for you, clear the password field and type it by hand. A saved password from an older account is the most common cause.

After a few failed attempts a short cooldown starts. The button tells you how long is left, and waiting it out is faster than reloading.

04

Your record is wrong once you are in

Sign in first, then raise a correction from your profile. Course, branch, semester and intake come from the roster, so they are reviewed by the campus team rather than edited directly. Your official GEHU email is the one the university holds as canonical.

If none of these is yours, the campus team can look your account up directly.

Still stuck?

Write to us with your student ID and the email you sign in with, so your account can be found quickly. Never send your password.
